A lovely example of ikat pattern in pile weaving that is seen only on a small group of dowry weavings of Ersari nomads in Turkmenistan.

Lovely colors and unique motifs in the end panels

NOTE the presence of the girl - this is a remarkable inclusion that is uncommon and I am still finding out more

Good condition in general.Some areas of heavy wear but mostly even pile. 

In one section the blue is different - this may be because of a difference in the dye or  uneven fading.
