Tibetan Apron worn over the robe by women.
Probably all natural dyes.
Appears to be all wool but may have some other fiber.
Handwoven. Hand stitched.
Each of the four panels are woven separately on a narrow loom and then stitched together by hand.
Estimated to be from the 1930s
Some erosion on the reverse where the cloth meets the robe - probably from the friction that occurs between layers while walking

This item has spent a lifetime being used for the purpose of its creation with the original artist/user. Signs of this life lived heartily may be present on the piece in the form of stains, thread loss, loose threads, holes, tears, color run and other imperfections. Therefore the condition must be assumed to be “not” perfect. More photos of such imperfections will be provided on request.
